The House of Collaboration Team (RUKO) held a Creative Writing Training and Encouraging Productive Writing on Social Forestry in Lampung for institutions and personnel of related service partners, forest management units (KPH) and the Forestry Service as well as NGO representatives.
The training lasted for two full days, Saturday-Sunday (3-4/10), in the Hall of the Indonesian Family Planning Association (PKBI) Lampung, in Bandarlampung.
Coordinator of RUKO, Ir Warsito said that this training had been planned from the start by RUKO to provide knowledge and practical writing skills for RUKO stakeholders and partners, both in government, related agencies, and NGOs.
Warsito hoped that the two-day training could actually provide the participants with practical writing skills, so that after the training they could be applied to better develop their respective internal media.
“We hope that this training can be a memorable and useful for all participants in their respective institutions,” said Warsito, who was also the former Head of the Lampung Provincial Forestry Service.
This two-day training by presenting the main resource person was Oyos Saroso HN, a journalist who is also the General Leader/Editor in Chief of Teraslampung.com, a former journalist for The Jakarta Post and had been a journalist for the Lampung Post Public Daily for a long time, along with the editor of the LKBN Antara of Lampung Bureau, Budisantoso Budiman.
Participants received training material from the theoretical, simulation and practical aspects of writing individually for two full days, tailored to the needs of disseminating information related to the implementation of the social forestry program in Lampung.
